Guardian Angels Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to ensuring that every child in District 228 can participate in school events, access essential resources, and feel included—regardless of financial circumstances.
Alex’s Story
Guardian Angels Fund was founded in November 2021 by Alex and Trevor Schefsky to honor a lifelong promise to serve others. From their youth, Alex and Trevor shared a passion for helping the community, from cleaning streets to ensuring children had safe play areas.
Inspired by Trevor’s courageous battle with the rare genetic condition DADA2, this fund carries forward their shared mission: providing support, hope, and opportunities to children in need.
